Choose the companions you bring along with you carefully - it is best to bring just 1 or 2 whose opinion you value and trust. Too many will give different views and may cause confusion and upset. Gowns are all made to order which takes time; preferably your gown should reach us at least 2 months prior to the wedding date in order to ensure that all fittings are done in a timely and orderly manner. This ensures everything is exactly to your requirements. You should be ordering your gown at least 6 months before your wedding and it is quite usual to begin shopping seriously about 10-12 months prior. If your timescale is less than 6 months, don’t panic - just come and see us as soon as possible as we are still able to organise some gowns at short notice ( EVEN WITHIN A WEEK IS POSSIBLE, THOUGH CHOICE WILL BE MORE LIMITED). Try to be open minded about your dress style and be prepared to try lots of different styles - many brides end up choosing something completely different to that which they originally planned.
